FoCo Pets (“we,” “us,” or “the clinic”) operates the website www.focopetssurgery.com and the appointment request form on it. This notice describes how we handle personal information collected through this website. It is not a substitute for the records we keep when you become a patient, and it is not a HIPAA notice — veterinary care is not covered by HIPAA.
Who we are

Information we collect
Appointment request form. If you use the form on our Hours & Location page, we collect your first and last name, phone number, email address, your pet’s name, species (dog or cat), the service you are interested in, and any notes you choose to include (for example preferred timing).
Calls, texts, and email you start. If you tap Call, Text, or our clinic email link, your device opens the applicable default application for calling, texts, or email. We then have whatever you send us in that conversation (your number or email, and the content of the message). We do not collect extra data from those links on the website itself.
Technical logs. Our website host and DNS provider may automatically process standard connection data (such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested) to deliver the site, keep it secure, and diagnose problems.
Usage analytics. Vercel Analytics records page views and that someone used a Call, Text, Schedule, or appointment-request control. Those events do not include the name, contact details, or notes you type in the form.
How we use it
We use appointment-request and contact information to follow up about scheduling, answer questions, and provide veterinary care you ask for. We do not sell your information, and we do not use the form to send marketing newsletters.
Who receives it
Form submissions are emailed to the clinic inbox (focopetssurgery@gmail.com) so staff can reach you. We use Resend to send that email from our domain. The website is hosted on Vercel; DNS and related network services are provided by Cloudflare. Those companies process information only as needed to provide their services to us.
We do not sell or share your information for advertising. We may disclose information if the law requires it, or if we must protect someone’s safety or our legal rights.
How long we keep it
We may retain appointment requests and all related phone, text, and email records — including messages you start from this website and our replies — to schedule care and to create or update records for new and existing clients. If you want us to correct or delete information you sent through the website, contact us using the details below and we will handle the request as the law and our records obligations allow.
Children
This website is for pet owners and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the site. If you believe a child submitted information, contact us and we will delete it from the website request.
Changes to this notice
We may update this page when our practices change. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the website after an update means the revised notice applies to information collected from then on.
